A sound and visual installation. An ode to the ocean depths
Installation, Video, Music Listening to Fish and Other Noisy Shrimp invites you to dive into an unsuspected acoustic world: that of marine animals. A sound and visual installation, at the crossroads of natural sciences and artistic expression. Through its biomimetic approach, this installation weaves a subtle connection between the sounds of living beings and a form of auditory trance, on the border between naturalism and meditative experience. Fabrice-Elie Hubert: creates electronic music with fish. After 20 years composing and producing electronic music with various international artists (Sice - Boo Radleys, Mark Gardener - Ride, Papa's fritas, The Posies...), he now blends science with sound to create a sonic and meditative experience. Rémi Demarthon: Author and director, both underwater and on land, for numerous channels (National Geographic, Arte, France TV...). His favorite subjects revolve around animal sentience and cognition. Guillaume Milochau: trained in modular synthesis with Sarah Belle Reid and in real-time visual creation with the Node Institute. His work centers on the live diversion, appropriation, and transformation of sound signals, visual streams, and digital materials. In partnership with Les Archives Nationales and Université de Liège.
