A sound-and-light show enjoyed lying down, beneath an illustrated ceiling, for a Nuit Blanche break with family or friends… Tempted? Épinay-sur-Seine invites you along with the musicians and visual artists collective Les Vibrants Défricheurs!
Le Perce Plafond is a horizontal, improvised, intimate sound-and-light show. Lying down, the audience gazes at the ceiling, transformed into a playground for visual artists & musicians. Images and music are created in real time, improvised in the moment, unfolding an entire imaginary world. The viewer gives in to a gentle, dreamlike sensory experience… There are as many Perce Plafonds as there are ceilings… come discover them! 3 sessions are offered: 2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. The first performance is followed at 3:30 p.m. by an experimental workshop on the visual tools and techniques of Perce Plafond: paper cutting, shadow and light play, working with sharpness and blur, what is shown and what is suggested… Les Vibrants Défricheurs are supported by agreements with the DRAC Normandie, the Région Normandie and the Ville de Rouen. They are supported by the Ville de Sotteville-lès-Rouen, the Ville de Petit-Quevilly and Porte 10, the cultural delegation of the CHU de Rouen. Also to discover around the theme of Love at the Micro-Folie d'Épinay-sur-Seine: From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Exhibition “Ah, love!” and reading lounge for all ages The theme of love in literature is eternal and universal; come explore it through many excerpts from works by classic French authors. Dive back into Flaubert or Maupassant to relive great passionate moments! The Micro-Folie reading lounge welcomes you with a wide selection of books, children's albums and comics about friendship, love and connection. At 7:30 p.m.: A guided session in the Digital Museum is offered around the “Love” playlist, featuring works by Douanier Rousseau, Marc Chagall, Niki de Saint Phalle… Ciné-concert offered at the Micro-Folie d'Épinay-sur-Seine, with support from the Métropole du Grand Paris.
