From June 6 to 14, 2026, the Festival du mieux manger will take place, Paris’s festive, family-friendly celebration of sustainable food and agriculture. Bring the family and enjoy a vegetable gardening workshop in the garden of the Maurice Genevoix library (18th arrondissement).
As part of the Festival du Mieux Manger, a festive and committed event celebrating sustainable, local, seasonal food across the city of Paris, the library invites you to a friendly gathering in the garden. Festival du Mieux Manger On Saturday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m., children and adults are invited to a family vegetable gardening workshop in the heart of the library garden. On the program: discovering seedlings, conversations about the seasons, and simple tips for growing your own vegetables, even with limited space. A great opportunity to understand where food comes from and how to eat better every day 🌿 Children and adults alike can get their hands in the soil, experiment, ask questions… and above all share a simple, joyful moment outdoors. At the end of the workshop, everyone will leave with a small plant (carrots, lettuce, or another seasonal surprise) to grow at home. A workshop to spark curiosity, share a love of living things, and sow, together, the first seeds of more responsible eating. Free workshop, open to families – registration required.
