For Nuit Blanche 2026, Les Colporteurs present a new contemporary art exhibition exploring the relationship between the city and nature.
The Symbiose Ville Nature exhibition is part of the cycle of exhibitions, artist residencies, installations, and gatherings organized since 2010 by Rézoest in the cité-jardin du Pré Saint-Gervais. With brick and plant life as its guiding thread, the artists and artisans explore the paradoxical impressions created by this urban landscape, at times intimate and at times monumental, of the cité-jardin with its green slopes and unexpected viewpoints. Solange Jungers Serge Barto Tuukka Laurila Federica Nadalutti Cécile Bourdais Mô Mathey & Les Colporteurs Rézoest brings together visual artists committed to highlighting not only the architectural heritage, but also the living, human and non-human heritage it represents. Les Colporteurs is a collective of artists, artisans, inventors, researchers, and residents from many varied backgrounds. Le Printemps des cités-jardins The Symbiose exhibition is also part of Le Printemps des Cités-jardins 2026 and will be presented over the first two weekends of June. With the theme “Des Racines et des Horizons,” Le Printemps des cités-jardins this year focuses on the origins of cité-jardin residents and the English concept of the garden city, while imagining the future of these neighborhoods in connection with the wider area. Open studios for artists and artisans, as well as guided tours, are offered on the weekends of June 6 and 7 and June 13 and 14. Dreaming of a possible symbiosis between the city and nature, the individual and the collective, the artists reveal how art and poetry can elevate places.
