Visual and sound performance centered on water.
Performance, Installation, Music Liquid Form – Sound Laboratory is an immersive visual and sound performance centered on water, born from the collaboration between musician OMMA and artist Emilie Hirayama. Painting and music interact through the medium of water: droplets trigger sounds captured by a hydrophone, while conductive brushes translate gestures into music. The composition created on the surface of the water is unique and ever-evolving, then transferred onto fabric using the Japanese know-how of Suminagashi. The brushes become both drawing tools and sound instruments. In partnership with Can Touch This Studio
