Performance and screening combining dance, taiko, and textile art

Performance, Video Screening, Textile Art At the crossroads of dance, textile art, and ritual, Home is on Fire is a performance born from the collaboration between the duo Pangea, Collectif Minuit 12, and the musical ensemble Paris Taïko. The work unfolds through a choreographic proposal that explores the sensory ways bodies connect, resist, and organize, translating them into shared gestures. A transdisciplinary work, it weaves a narrative shaped by contemporary mythologies. First developed as an experimental film that won an award at the Berlin Indie Film Festival 2025, this living installation brings together seven dancers, four taiko drums, a monumental 30-meter textile coat, and handwoven straw headdresses. Presented at the Halle des Blancs-Manteaux, the performance will take place at 7:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 11:30 p.m., while the film will be screened continuously between each activation. Collectif Minuit 12, the duo Pangea, and Paris Taïko Ensemble have been developing a shared body of work since 2024 at the intersection of dance, music, and textile art. Their collaboration is part of a long-term research project around ritual, collective practices, and sensory forms of connection with the living world. With the support of Greenline Foundation
