Trio featuring voice, percussion, sculptures, and an electroacoustic installation
Installation, Performance, Music, Sculpture, Exhibition Formed in 2025, this trio brings together Charles Dubois, percussionist, Anna Holveck, singer, and François Dufeil, visual artist. Les Cloches sous pression, a unique instrumentarium designed by François Dufeil since 2019 and regularly played by Charles Dubois, encounter new voice-focused modules conceived for and with Anna Holveck. An automatic water drum, combined with bells fitted with mechanical strikers, opens up an electroacoustic composition carried by a semi-autonomous installation. Anna Holveck’s breath enters into dialogue with the timbres of the continuous mechanical device, while the precision of François Dufeil’s electronic percussion intersects with Charles Dubois’s freer, more elastic gestures. Bells and rhythmic onomatopoeia, sung through megaphones, answer one another from either side of the concert space. Whistles and voices swirl together with the bells, accompanied by pneumatic drums. The activations of Chansons cloches will be visible at 7:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. With the support of the Centre d'Art Contemporain d'Intérêt National - Le Carré - under the direction of Bertrand Godot - 2025 for the production of the works.
