Theater and poetry festival dedicated to living contemporary poets.
Performance, Music, Theater The Festival du Haut des Cimes de Ménilmontant offers a dynamic celebration of poetry, designed to be accessible to everyone. A true introduction to poetry and contemporary writing, this event is the result of work to raise awareness of poetry through a variety of approaches (happenings, workshops, walks, varied immersive and interactive listening experiences) and tools (theatrical, playful, interpretive…) that give everyone the chance, by making them active participants and giving them analytical keys and codes, to access and enjoy the most innovative forms of contemporary writing. The program also includes elements rooted in the local area, inviting participants to discover and interact with the local environment through urban poetry walks. The activities are designed to be inclusive, giving everyone the opportunity to read, write, and listen to poetry in close connection with the territory they pass through, inhabit, and imagine. The festival invites everyone to discover these new and distinctive uses of language, and to listen, read, and write with the poets. In partnership with Le Carré Baudouin.
