The museum is handing Seulgi Lee the reins for an evening with guest artists
Video, monumental installation, music, performance. On the occasion of Nuit Blanche, the Musée Guimet is giving South Korean artist Seulgi Lee carte blanche. In dialogue with her installation Dal Dari, La Lune et les Jambes on the facade and in the museum's Rotonde, the artist transforms this exceptional night into an invitation to step into the heart of her world. For this evening, BAM, which means "night" in Korean, Seulgi Lee has imagined a vibrant program, inviting several artists whose work resonates with her own artistic practice, in tribute to the moon. Artist Arthur Fléchard will present a performance titled La question du jaune at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., anthropologist and philosopher Pierre Déléage will share stories about the moon. At 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., two artists' short films will be screened in the auditorium: Delivery dancer's sphere by Ayoung Kim and MM, UH, OH AH by Na Hye Choi. Oan Kim & the Dirty Jazz will bring the evening to a close with music during a jazz concert starting at 10 p.m.
