"ROSE" by Cie Notre Insouciance: a socio-romantic epic adapted from Liv Strömquist’s graphic novel La Rose la plus rouge s'épanouit.
1h05 • ages 10 and up • free in public spaces "How do we stop being in love? As mysteriously as we fall in love?" With humor and poetry, between theater and live music, ROSE invites us to deconstruct heteronormative relationship patterns and dive into the intimate complexity of romantic feeling. Over a few glasses of red wine, songs, and declarations of love, encounter iconic characters – from H.D. to Leonardo DiCaprio, Michel from Mariés au Premier Regard, or even Beyoncé – to question our relationship with love, desire, and commitment. + 1 company, 2 shows Catch JOUIR by Cie Notre Insouciance on Saturday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. SEE THE PROGRAM THE COMPANY Cie Notre Insouciance is a theater company performing in public spaces, led by Juliette Hecquet, director, actor, and cultural mediator. Since 2018, Notre Insouciance has worked with around twenty artists from multidisciplinary backgrounds: theater, music, dance, audiovisual, and visual arts. The company enjoys engaging with social issues through poetry, irony, and carefree spirit. Its shows are designed for exchange and sharing in third places, festivals, and non-traditional venues such as gardens, schools, gyms, and public squares. With each creation, an opportunity emerges to meet audiences and surprise those who do not think of themselves as theatergoers. ROSE teaser; Credits: Graphic design: Philippe Deutsch.
