How do you write songs without a vocalist? Composer Zeynep Toraman imagines a synthetic voice, disembodied and strange, in dialogue with instrumental performance. How can the identity of instruments be altered? In Nun VI, Sarah Nemtsov plays with the ambiguity of electronic lutherie to create an alternation between intense immersion and minimalist spaces. How can one escape the calibrated formats of musical creation? With Laub ("foliage"), Enno Poppe sets off a plant-like proliferation.
