Tour of the Théâtre de la Colline costume workshop followed by a performance of Lazare's show L'Avenir des reflets

Registration for this event is no longer possible (fully booked). Workshop tour and discussion - 5:00 p.m. The theater has a costume-making workshop dedicated to costume creation. There, costume designers imagine the silhouettes, develop the patterns, and select the fabrics before the seamstresses create made-to-measure pieces. For Lazare's L'Avenir des reflets, the production combines period costumes with more timeless silhouettes. Each costume plays a full part in the storytelling and in shaping the characters on stage. Performance - 7:30 p.m. With L'Avenir des reflets, the writer and director Lazare opens a new theatrical cycle, La Comédie du mauvais sang. In this poetic and political creation, ancient myths intersect with figures from the French Revolution to conjure a theater of visions, memory, and metamorphosis. The Gorgon, Perseus, Marat, and Olympe de Gouges move through time and History, appearing as unsettling reflections of our desires for freedom, our anger, and our contradictions. L'Avenir des reflets will be performed from May 19 to June 20, 2026 at the Grand théâtre de la Colline. Registration with the librarians: [email protected] or 01 55 25 49 10 - FULLY BOOKED Lazare Lazare is a writer, director, actor, and improviser. He first trained at the Théâtre du Fil, then at the École du Théâtre National de Bretagne between 2000 and 2003. In 2006, he founded Vita Nova, bringing together actors and musicians who would accompany him on a trilogy tracing the saga of a family between France and Algeria: Passé, je ne sais où-qui revient; Au pied du mur sans porte; Rabah Robert- touche ailleurs que là où tu es né. In 2014, Lazare moved away from the sweeping epic fresco with Petits contes d’amour et d’obscurité. An associate artist at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg since 2015, he presented Sombre rivière there in 2017. He regularly works at the school, where he leads acting workshops based on his texts. Since 2018, he has also been associated with the Théâtre de Gennevilliers. In 2019, he presented Je m’appelle Ismaël, a musical and cinematic theater project.
