The theme of love through wartime correspondence.
Photography, installation, video: Laurent Pernot presents a new work centered on writing, poetry, and love, in resonance with the museum's collections. He brings together different media: installation, pictorial work, and scenography, as well as ordinary materials such as paper and cardboard. This Carte Blanche is marked by a dreamlike spirit. Born in 1980, Laurent Pernot lives and works in Paris. He holds a Master's degree in Photography & Multimedia from Université Paris VIII (2002) and was admitted to Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains (Tourcoing) in 2004. After his studies and numerous residencies abroad, Laurent Pernot set out to create a universe that makes the flow of time perceptible and calls for a broad understanding of nature, life, memory, and disappearance. Curated by Céline Neveux.
