As part of the Stock exhibition at Poste Rodier, Paris 9. We are organizing a two-part, thoughtful and friendly visit to explore the architectures of storage together, then continue the discovery with an origami-making workshop.
Part 1: A playful visit A playful visit to open our eyes to all those places we hardly ever notice... and yet they watch over a large part of our lives. Between the discreet boxes of today and older architectures, everyone is invited to discover what humans choose to keep, hide, or pass on. Along the way, we observe, ask questions, imagine, and connect these spaces to our own everyday lives. What if storing things was not just about putting things away, but also about caring, making choices, and preparing for tomorrow? Part 2: Storage architect And what if, now, it were up to you to decide what deserves to be kept? A memory? A secret? A seed? A small everyday treasure? In this workshop, children are invited to become storage architects. Is a box ever just a box? It already tells the story of a choice: what do we want to keep, for whom, how, and for how long... As the paper is folded, the questions raised by the exhibition return in a different form, through gesture, shape, and the care given to what is being made. Then comes the moment of choice: take your box home to keep what matters in it, or leave it in the exhibition to join a collective reserve, like a landscape of shared treasures. Because sometimes, keeping something also means creating a connection.
