A conference and musical performances, echoing the current Prix Dauphine pour l'Art Contemporain exhibition.
Music, Exhibition, Conference For the 13th edition of the Prix Dauphine pour l’Art Contemporain, the exhibiting duos are invited to explore the theme of Disorder. We propose examining the dialectic between order and its subversive counterfield in order to create, make visible, and reflect on the spaces, people, materials, and collectives for whom disorder is a response to the bleak ordering of things. In this context, Nuit Blanche will feature a dedicated evening program, approaching disorder through forms drawn from the performing arts and offering a new lens on the exhibition’s curatorial theme. 18:00 - Borgial, Sara Lehad and Sofia Kouloukouri (talk) Multidisciplinary artist Borgial, researcher and composer Sara Lehad, and director and art historian Sofia Kouloukouri will take part in a roundtable discussion on live creation and its subversive potential. 19:45 - El Aswat El Samita (live) الأصوات الصامت pronounced - Ɛℓ αѕωαт Ɛℓ ѕαмιтα - meaning "the silent voices" in Arabic, is an ensemble made up of Sara Lehad and Laurie Droulin. A live improvisation blending excerpts from traditional and contemporary Palestinian music with abstract sounds, all committed to amplifying and transmitting multiple voices that have been silenced. 21:15 - Elizabeth Vogler (live) Elizabeth Vogler is drawn to memory: things seen, sounds felt, captured and then transformed into a rich, textured assemblage that is as multifaceted as it is harmonious. Her sound performances are inspired by and give pride of place to improvisation, both vocal and electronic, guided by her controllers and enveloped by the drone of her Shruti Box, an Indian bellows instrument.
