With Indiscrétions publiques, theater on every floor!
Students from the theater class at the conservatoire de Paris Centre W.A. Mozart are taking over the library with theatrical performances in pairs (between 5 and 10 minutes per performance). Indiscrétions publiques is a collection of texts rooted in today's social issues, written by a collective of Quebec authors commissioned by Compagnie Le Théâtre du Ricochet. The idea of performing in public spaces to engage people with social, environmental, and heritage issues was launched in Dublin by the company Shiva Production under the name Angels in the park. Compagnie Le Théâtre du Ricochet adapted the concept in Montréal by inviting authors each year to create new plays. The 10th edition brought together 10 plays from the first editions. The conservatory students' performances, from the ground floor to the 4th floor, are drawn from this 10th edition.
