The Drawing Lab, an art center dedicated to contemporary drawing and its experiments, invites you to discover its new group exhibition "A Window Against Time," curated by Claire Luna.
Drawing, Video, Installation, Performance, Exhibition For A Window Against Time, Claire Luna weaves together three strands: a distance from the noise of the world - not to turn away from it, but to relate to it through another mode of attention, where calm becomes a position, crossed at times by far sharper intensities; a displaced cohabitation - after six months in residence at the Drawing Factory, the artists partially move out and take up residence in the Drawing Hotel, whose lobby, patio, bookshop, passageways, and basement host forms that often infiltrate everyday uses; a porosity between the intimate and the public - from the residency to the hotel, something persists and shifts: ways of inhabiting, neighborly proximities, passages, where the intimate is shared and the public becomes unsettled. On the occasion of its first participation in Nuit Blanche, the Drawing Lab is exceptionally opening its doors until 10 p.m. for a special evening around the exhibition A Window Against Time. On the program: a renewed discovery of the exhibition with the activation of Camila Eslava's installation Inlevarium, as well as a new performance by Boryana Petkova conceived from one of the rooms of the Drawing Hotel.
