This evening, entirely devoted to dance and collective experiences, invites audiences into an intense choreographic journey where energy, rhythm, and creativity unfold on stage.
OLIVIER DUBOIS, Drummers (Boléro Electro), choreographic piece - Duration: 50 min At the beginning, a breath, an almost inaudible beat. With Drummers, Olivier Dubois guided 50 amateur dancers from Essonne in pushing beyond their limits through a collective dance inspired by Ravel’s Boléro. Here, the individual disappears in favor of the whole, and the whole exists only through each person. Every body becomes percussion, every gesture builds the energy. Of special note is the exceptional presence of Yuksek, who will perform his electro version of Boléro live. Immerse yourself in a show where the beat grows, hypnotic and obsessive, all the way to the explosion! Olivier Dubois (born in 1972 in Roubaix. He lives and works in Paris) is a French choreographer and dancer known for his powerful, immersive work, blending rigor with collective energy. He explores rhythm, the body, and stage presence, incorporating both professional and amateur dancers into his creations. Boléro Electro – Revival of the show created at the Philharmonie de Paris on March 8, 2025. Show co-produced with the Théâtre Brétigny An evening co-produced with Le Carreau du Temple
