Women’s self-defense group classes have several goals. First, you will learn self-defense techniques and strategies to develop your women’s self-defense skills. The practice also lets you take part in regular physical activity. Classes take place in a warm, women-only atmosphere, with instructor Claude G. Practicing women’s self-defense will give you: - greater self-confidence, - a faster and more effective reaction time, - better situational awareness, - development of your instinctive self-defense reflexes. This Qi Gong and senior self-defense class is for women who want to take care of their health while developing more confidence and safety in daily life. Through gentle movements, breathing, and body awareness, Qi Gong promotes relaxation, vitality, and balance. At the same time, the introduction to women’s self-defense provides simple, effective techniques for learning how to protect yourself. The entire class takes place in a warm and supportive atmosphere, specially adapted to the needs of senior women. Introduction to martial arts through Kali Eskrima Filipino self-defense martial arts with weapons (mixed class M/F); Credits: @Shaktibudo What are Kali Eskrima and panatukan? Kali Eskrima is an ancestral Filipino martial art that, among other things, teaches you how to defend yourself with all kinds of weapons and everyday objects. Practice is done with bamboo or wooden sticks measuring 30 cm. By learning to handle weapons, you will gain a more realistic approach that will help you better understand armed attacks. In addition to learning how to handle sticks, the training then expands to weapons and all kinds of objects that can be used very effectively in self-defense. Perfectly suited to street fighting, Panatukan (dirty boxing) also includes the option to work bare-handed, using every part of the body as a weapon.
