Content:
- Human body proportions. Drawing the body based on its main moving parts. Standardized landmarks and bony landmarks.
- Skeletal structure and the various components of the body. Overview of major muscles.
- Different types of mannequins.
- Synthetic forms.
- Drawing the body using primary masses and axes.
- Perspective drawing of the body: form, volumes, cylinders. Bird's-eye and worm's-eye views.
- Drawing the head with its proportions and various axes.
- Fat pad locations.
- How to draw the mouth, nose, eyes, and ears.
- How to draw hands and feet.
- Rendering the body using values.
Materials: A3 layout sketchbook, A3 drawing board or A3 wooden panel with clip, HB, 2B, 4B, and 8B pencils, a few colored pencils, a 30 cm or 50 cm ruler, Copic gray markers, one black waterproof marker.
