La Parada Flamenca is rooted in the intimacy of « Tablaos flamencos ». In Spain, tablaos are café-concert venues, descendants of « Cafes Cantantes » (singing cafés), where flamenco artists perform before an audience seated at tables over drinks and tapas. They are places of art and conviviality where solemnity and a festive spirit coexist.
