Come learn how to mend, embroider, transform, or repurpose clothes in a joyful, festive atmosphere!
On June 5 and 6, place de la Mairie du 11ᵉ arrondissement will host the 4th edition of Festival des Réparations, organized by UAMEP – Collectif des autres modes. At the crossroads of Journée mondiale de l’Environnement and Nuit Blanche, the Festival invites residents, designers, artisans, and local stakeholders to repair, transform, and create with textiles. For two days, the square becomes an open-air workshop, where people learn to mend, embroider, transform, or repurpose clothing, while also exploring the environmental issues linked to textiles. On the program: textile repair workshops, collective creations, artistic performances, statement garments, textile works, craft demonstrations, games, and quizzes for learning in a different way.
