Amid the wealth of ideas surrounding the ecological transition, we are convinced that the arts are among the tools that can best help us navigate the challenges and transformations of a world in upheaval. Green Theatres, which intrinsically forge a connection between nature and art, compel us to develop a unique relationship with the living world. Artists, audiences, and partners alike experience a profound shift in our relationship with the Living World as soon as we begin this dialogue with Green Theatres. This Friday, September 18, is therefore an opportunity to bring together all the people who envision and support Green Theatres as a means of reflecting on the ecological transition: What is a Green Theatre? Could Green Theatres become a new “green” distribution network? What role should public institutions play in supporting and developing Green Theatres?
