From May 8 to June 7, the CPA Maurice Ravel gallery hosts the Diffraction exhibition by artist Erdeurien. An original exhibition blending plastic arts research and urban art!
The CPA Maurice Ravel features an artistic exhibition space known as the Galerie Maurice Ravel. Each season, the gallery hosts several exhibitions showcasing various techniques representative of contemporary artistic creation (painting, drawing, photography, collage, printmaking, digital creation, urban art, etc.). Through these exhibitions, we are committed to offering our audiences the opportunity to discover art in diverse and original forms and to meet artists with varied backgrounds, particularly during opening receptions. May exhibition: "Diffraction", from May 8 to June 7, 2026 Free admission, open access This exhibition invites you to discover the artist's creative journey, from the mushroom placed on the street using different techniques—a sort of repetitive leitmotiv tag—to its diffraction, finally traveling between the microscopic and the macroscopic through instinctive perspectives that fragment planes into spaces. But who is Erdeurien? "After writing, photography... Erdeurien began painting under the influence of Jow.L and Zonk, whom she met in the squat La Cour des Noues in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. Initially working in urban environments, then on larger projects such as the 'Imago' project in 2011, an ephemeral participatory graphic work on the town hall of Sevran, or the 'Biosphère' project in Clichy-sous-Bois in 2013, Erdeurien is in perpetual graphic research. In a form of activism, Erdeurien represents the world around her through lines or curves that give her 'stroke' a sense of simplicity and humility, whether on canvas or in life."
