À propos

An evening of sharing, immersion, and collective creation to unpack existential crises; their impact on the (de)construction of our identities; and the narratives that help connect the search for self with the search for meaning.

Who has never gone through an existential crisis? An adolescent crisis, a midlife crisis, a crisis of values… From a slight disconnect with the world to profound upheaval, our lives are marked by existential crises that are more or less visible, accepted, and supported. They call into question the why and the value of our existence, as well as the meaning of our paths. They probe the construction of our identities, our relationships, and our contribution to the collective. To mark the publication of the polyphonic comedy novel "La Mue des homards bleus" by Christelle Thouvenin at Kubik Editions, la maison de la Conversation invites you to a special evening. The event will bring together a literary presentation, introspection, discussion, mutual support, and analysis around our existential crises and the ways they are fueled by the state of the world and shape our identities. From the intimate to the collective, how can literature offer narratives and models that help connect the search for self with the search for meaning? Sabine Lewartowski - clinical psychologist - psychotherapist - dance therapist - will share, in an educational and holistic way, the causes, symptoms, and mechanisms of these crises, their systemic functioning, and their impact on our identity. Because identifying them also means seizing the opportunity to regain control over what overwhelms us… it means welcoming ourselves and therefore feeling better able to welcome others; it means creating bonds. The evening will be hosted by Grâce Iba, Director of Programming at la maison de la Conversation, and facilitated by Solenn Thomas, co-founder of Eklore. Come share with us a moment of exchange, openness, and learning that will lead to a collective manifesto artwork! "The lobster molts regularly in order to grow. To do so, sheltered from predators, it sheds its hard shell, grows, expands, and forms a new protection. During this process, it is soft and very vulnerable while its new exoskeleton forms and hardens. To describe the upheavals and fragility of human adolescence, Françoise Dolto, pediatrician and psychoanalyst, spoke of the « complexe du homard ». What about the other existential crises that occur throughout life?" La Mue des homards bleus, Christelle Thouvenin Date Tuesday, June 9 Time 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Price Free How to get there?
