A solidarity festival featuring dance, theater, music, and a dance party, taking place for the second year in a row around diversity and inclusion. A cultural event designed to raise awareness, inform, and familiarize the public with the place of people with disabilities in the arts sector.
Faites Place is an event co-organized by three strong cultural organizations from the 20th arrondissement, which have decided to join forces once again to make this day a unifying event where everyone feels involved and actively takes part in inclusion and disability awareness. The inclusive dance company Les chemins de la danse is part of a cultural democracy process committed to making dance accessible to all audiences and to people of all ages, backgrounds, and mobility levels. The theater company Apparente is an inclusive company that explores the possibility of professionalization in the performing arts for adults with mental and/or psychological disabilities. The association Septembre Indien, a registered public-interest organization, organizes four events a year, including the Septembre Indien festival, a festival of all kinds of music held every September, which will be in its 5th edition in 2026. The program brings together concerts, dance, a dance party, theater… with cultural actors with disabilities. A festive, inclusive, solidarity-focused, and free event in a pedestrian-friendly environment designed to encourage encounters and allow the public to move around easily. Associations will also be present, including those hosted at the accessibility residence at the Mairie du 20e, such as ATFAL, CLE Autistes, les Battantes face aux handicaps, le Relais Atypique…
