In tune with our times, it questions human activity (social responsibility, ecological critique, etc.) in the age of the Anthropocene. This work consists of a Füssli, five metagraphies, a relic, an electro loop generated from Mozart's Mass in C minor, live soloists, dancers and actors from the CRR de Paris, and finally... tinnitus. Argument: 1783 marks the starting point of an acceleration. That year, Füssli painted Les trois sorcières, Mozart composed La Grande messe en Ut mineur, and Jouffroy d’Abbans launched his steamboat against the current on the Saône. A cheering crowd gathered on the banks and acclaimed the fifteen-minute sprint of this 150-ton machine. None of those taking part in the celebration realized that this boat was pulling the entire planet in its wake. The “Anthropocene” had begun. “Last Day(s)” traces this period and sounds its death knell. Program Metagraphy; Credits: Philippe Diversy
