Michel Gondry’s L’Usine de Films Amateurs moves into the Patinoire de Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine from June 6 to July 6, 2026.
For Nuit Blanche Métropolitaine 2026, themed around love, the City of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine is kicking off an extraordinary collective artistic experience by hosting L’Usine de Films Amateurs, conceived by filmmaker Michel Gondry. On June 6, for an opening evening open to everyone, the Patinoire — an emblematic city venue immortalized in L’Écume des jours — will be transformed into a true creative playground. Residents, the curious, and film lovers are invited to dive into a world where imagination comes to life, with handmade sets, spontaneous scripts, and participatory shoots. An invitation to create together, to dream, and to celebrate love in all its forms. From 7 p.m., the company Les Souffleurs commandos poétiques will take over the venue and scatter its whispers, breathing an intimate and sensitive atmosphere into this singular night. The evening continues with music from a DJ Sonikem set, whose sounds blending hip-hop, afrohouse, and jazz accompany this artistic and festive journey, led by the artistic direction of Barbara Butch. This opening night marks the beginning of a month of creation and sharing: from June 6 to July 6, 2026, the Patinoire de Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine becomes a space open to every desire, where everyone can imagine, write, and direct their own film. A symbolic metamorphosis for this venue, set to become a major cultural landmark where creation is experienced and reinvented collectively.
