For Nuit Blanche 2026, Ateliers Médicis is presenting an artistic and participatory program around the theme of love, taking place at Ateliers Médicis, on the Dhuys, and at the construction site of the future building, scheduled to open sometime in 2027. For this edition, a specific scenography has been designed by the Collectif Collective, a collective of designers, scenographers, and artists brought together around ideas of transmission, construction, and celebration.
On the program: Visual installations by Collectif Collective 🕞 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM The project unfolds an immersive scenography across the entire site, from the facades of Ateliers Médicis to the Parc de la Dhuys, all the way to the construction site. Various artistic and participatory installations mark the route: floating flags, a “pedestal of love and friendship,” gateways to walk through, and a giant computer where everyone can write and share messages of love live. Photobooth - by Kiara & Collectif Collective 🕓 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM Through a visual world designed by the collective, the photobooth becomes an intimate and playful space for expression, where everyone can celebrate emotional bonds, capture moments, and leave with a tangible trace of the experience. Podcast Askip 🕔 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Alongside Badiallo, Chloé, Kadiatou, and Jacobine, the audience attends a live recording of the Askip podcast around the themes of love, first times, and first dates. Cross-reading Veillons l’amour ! - by Asya Djoulaït & Youssra Gacem 🕡 6:30 PM – 7:15 PM Participants from every generation, from primary school children to seniors, produce texts shaped by their experiences of love, especially bonds between siblings and within the family. These writings are read aloud, recorded, and shared during a collective listening session. Hip-Hop Love roaming performance - by Le Chap, in collaboration with Voix Machine, Styx Lab, and Tonnerre de Singe 🕢 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM Le Chap proposes an immersive route linking La Fontaine aux Images to the construction site, passing through the Dhuys and Ateliers Médicis. Along the way, the roaming performance is paced by testimonies about love collected by Voix Machine, rap performances by Styx Lab, and krump choreographies by Tonnerre de Singe. Performance: L’Instant T - by Compagnie 7Bis with Juan Ignacio Tula 📍 Construction site of the future Ateliers Médicis building 🕣 8:30 PM – 8:55 PM Argentine artist Juan Ignacio Tula shares his passion for the Cyr wheel in a world of constant motion. A hypnotic journey of rotations and rhythms, evoking a dance close to that of the dervishes, guided by the gestures of circus arts. Closing banquet - by Collectif Collective 📍 Construction site of the future Ateliers Médicis building 🕘 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM A collective meal under the sign of love, organized after L’Instant T. In collaboration with Collectif Collective, a tablecloth specially created for the occasion transforms the table into a sensitive and symbolic medium — a moment of sharing to close the evening in the warmth of living together. Tours of the future Ateliers Médicis 🕘 from 3:30 PM The construction site of the future building opens its doors wide to residents. Put on a helmet during a guided tour to discover what lies behind the hoardings and imagine what this new artistic and cultural venue, scheduled to open in 2027, will look like.
