For Nuit Blanche, Paris La Boutique, a contemporary showcase nestled in the heart of the Hôtel de Ville, becomes a living, vibrant stage. On June 6, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the venue will host a series of choreographic performances conceived by professor Lia Rives from the municipal conservatory of the 19e arrondissement.
Designed as an artistic breath amid the buzz of Parisian nightlife, this program highlights two contrasting worlds, brought to life by young dancers in training. On one side, Apocadance, an immersive and intense piece, plunges the audience into a post-apocalyptic world where a group of young girls tries to rebuild human connection. Set to an eclectic soundtrack blending Bowie, Rosalia, and Bachar Mar-Khalifé, the choreography explores the tensions and solidarities of a collective searching for balance, turning love into a force of resistance against chaos. On the other, Aerodance summons the joyful energy and colorful aesthetic of the 1980s. To electrifying rhythms, the dancers unfold dynamic, deliberately retro movements, somewhere between a nostalgic wink and a celebration of motion. A light, festive, almost euphoric interlude that contrasts with the gravity of the first piece. In a pared-down setup, close to the audience, bodies move in and out of shadow, appear and disappear, inviting visitors into a sensory and immersive experience. The performances, lasting 5 to 15 minutes, repeat throughout the evening, giving everyone the freedom to stop, watch, and feel. Between commitment, collective energy, and contemporary aesthetics, these creations embody the vitality of the young choreographic scene and fully reflect the spirit of Nuit Blanche: making art accessible, alive, and deeply shared.
