Created in 1987, this June exhibition has featured one annual theme since 2004, linked to the arrondissement’s heritage and events. This year’s theme is "Women from Here and Elsewhere".
Women from Here and Elsewhere A theme that gave rise to around sixty works, drawings, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, along with a new medium: resin on glass plates and photography. Philippe Fagot’s photos, taken in Thaïlande, inspired the theme of the Salon, announced on the poster created by Aline du Beux with the painting by Iwona Séris and the sculpture by Phommalith. The artists brought together creations they had worked on elsewhere from life, over time, or after returning from various journeys, starting from the 14e, a crossroads of the Arts. Other customs and costumes are represented from Asie, Colombie, France, Inde, Jordanie, Maroc, and Pérou. A theme that would have inspired our friends Michelle Dounovetz, sculptor, and Jean-Jouis Lambert, painter, poster artist, and mosaicist, who departed for another elsewhere in 2026.
