The Pablo Murgier Pazdera Trio is firmly rooted in the margins. More than a style, jazz here is a way of inhabiting the present, a space of emancipation where every note questions and liberates.
The trio explores distinctive sonic territories, offering music that speaks, moves, and shares the realm of feeling. Its repertoire, centered on new compositions, also opens up to inspirations drawn from Sakamoto, Björk, Led Zeppelin, Hitchcock, Zeniter, as well as the musical imaginaries of Amérique du Sud. The trio is completed by Romain Lécuyer (France) on double bass and Miguel Couto (Brésil) on drums. For the concert at New Morning in Paris, the group will present part of its upcoming project, “L'animal que nous sommes,” and will welcome Canadian trumpeter Rachel Therrien as a special guest.
