On June 13, the media outlets Histoires Crépues, Komune, and La Fabrique des soignants bring their perspectives together to talk about identity through the lens of bodies and organize the first edition of the Nous en France festival.

France through marginalized bodies. Histoires Crépues, Komune, and La Fabrique des soignants are coming together to look at France in 2026 from the perspective of bodies, rather than through identity-based discourse. Colonial legacies, diasporic transmissions, health inequalities, experiences of racialization, … bodies have become a political battleground within discussions around identity in France. Without asking what that does to bodies. And yet that is where everything is inscribed: fatigue, silences, inequalities in care, experiences, … For the duration of an event, the principle of polyphonic programming comes to life at La Gaîté: the work carried out by the organizations in residence on the top floor makes its way into the public spaces so we can collectively grasp the issues of our time. Nous en France is resolutely open to everyone, offering a lively moment of exchange where each person can see themselves reflected. On the program: readings, exhibition, concerts, ballroom performance, dance workshop, moving debate, bookshop, … This first edition of the festival has Amandine Gay as its patron!
