À propos

Les Aliennes invite author Ludmila Taillanter to talk with the audience about “La lagune,” her debut novel tracing the story of Rozenn, Camille and Marjorie over their summer and their questions about love. You do not need to have read the book to take part.

Meet Ludmila Taillanter, the grand winner of Summer Love, a writing competition organized by the publishing house Slalom to mark one year since the novel’s publication. "La lagune" is part of Slalom Romance, their collection dedicated to 100% French New Adult romance. Rozenn arrives at a seaside campsite where she will be working for the summer at the café La Voile. There, she meets Camille, a young primary school teacher who has been spending his summers here for years. Chemistry sparks between them right away – until Marjorie arrives, a customer as charismatic as she is distant. As Rozenn and Camille’s relationship blossoms, they are both unsettled by Marjorie. Between the three of them, despite their differences, a bond takes shape and doubt begins to creep in: what if there were another way to love? Event program: - 7:00-8:30 p.m.: Discussions around the novel “La lagune” - 8:30-9:00 p.m.: Book signing and informal conversations Accessible event with PRM-accessible room and toilets, with live captioning and LSF translation available upon registration. FFP2 masks available at the entrance. The book will be available for purchase on site.
