Led by Académie du Climat as part of the Festival du Mieux Manger, in partnership with Yes We Camp, La Chorba and France Horizon, the Solidarity Banquet returns to place Baudoyer. Come share a table around the challenges of sustainable food in the heart of Paris.
As friendly and committed as ever, the Solidarity Banquet is reinventing itself to once again celebrate equality on the plate! The banquet will bring together 200 guests, split equally between people in vulnerable situations and members of the general public. A solidarity contribution makes it possible to invite those whose lunch is offered free of charge. Two menus co-produced by Yes We Camp and La Chorba will be available, prioritizing responsible sourcing, including unsold food and committed partners. On the program: - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Preparation of the Banquet and meals, and setup on place Baudoyer - 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Solidarity Banquet - 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.: Remarks by associations working every day to fight insecurity, and presentation of their initiatives to give you the tools to get involved alongside them! Attendance by Antoine Guillou (Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of sustainable food and short supply chains, Axe Seine and canals). - 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Musical and cultural activities: - Exhibition: Portraits de vies - récits du quotidien, organized by Yes We Camp, La Chorba, France Horizon. - Participatory mapping: Resource places for sustainable and solidarity-based food, organized by Yes We Camp with support from the Coordination des acteurs de l’aide alimentaire de Paris Centre. - Musical atmosphere: concert and DJ set.
