Discover Martin Robic's original pages for Une fête sans fin at Label 619!
Step into Martin Robic's world through a selection of original pages. La Nuit Sans Fin: A mysterious party takes place in a remote town, where it is said that attending it feels as though it lasts forever. Dorothée goes there to report on this celebration, which is surrounded by unanswered questions. Violette comes along, both to do her a favor and to take her own mind off things. Through meetings and visits to places more fantastic and wondrous than the last, she begins to forget the pain eating away at her. But can we ever truly run away from our problems forever? Martin Robic delivers a deeply sensitive, raw story about unease and melancholy. An invitation to travel, to meet others, to build connections: a life force. The artist A new recruit at Label 619, or a “rough diamond,” as the founders like to call this third generation of artists integrated into the label, Martin Robic benefits from a glowing preface by Mathieu Bablet, placing this new generation under the sign of praise and recognition. Label 619 This exhibition is connected to Label 619, founded by Run. The label champions comics rooted in their time, shaped by varied influences such as urban cultures, animation, and design. By giving authors great creative freedom, it allows projects with singular forms and narratives to emerge, often at the crossroads of genres. Label 619 has established itself as a creative space where strong worlds develop, driven by a true visual and narrative identity. Label 619 has helped bring forward and support several major authors on the contemporary scene, including Mathieu Bablet, Neyef, and Guillaume Singelin. We maintain a close collaboration with Label 619 and regularly present works by the artists associated with it. Our commitments Through original comic-book pages, dive into the heart of the graphic novel.
