During the better eating festival in Paris, Jardin des Traverses is hosting a large community and solidarity banquet with support from Action contre la Faim, Le RECHO, SAWA, and Carav’alim. Open to everyone!
Discover the Petite Ceinture as you have never seen it before: one huge table will welcome 200 people for a lunch prepared by three organizations, Le RECHO, SAWA, and Jardin des Traverses, with support from Action contre la Faim and Carav’alim. Thanks to funding and donations from Le RECHO, SAWA, Action contre la Faim, Carav’alim, the Mairie du 18ème, and the Mairie de Paris, this solidarity banquet will provide 100 meals to local residents and open the lunch to 100 other guests on a pay-what-you-can basis. The event takes place in three parts: Participatory cooking workshop Between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., come help prepare 200 meals guided by Le RECHO and Jardin des Traverses. To register: Interface Form - Airtable Lunchtime meal Between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., it’s time for the Grand Banquet collectif! The banquet is open to 100 people, by reservation and at a pay-what-you-can price. The meal includes a starter and a main course: bring your favorite dessert to share! Book Activities From 2 p.m., there will be activities about food injustice and the right to food, as well as games, performances, and activities for children. Free admission.
