For the Festival du mieux manger, taking place from June 6 to 14, La Ferme de Paris is offering activities around sustainable food and agriculture: discovering seasonal products, an organic market, and a chance to meet the farmers during animal feeding… A festive, family-friendly event for children and adults alike.
Open to the general public and families, this event aims to raise awareness of sustainable agriculture and food issues through an immersive trail. Self-guided games and educational trails: the kitchen garden of Parisian canteens, the garden showing the proportions of our everyday consumption, “the weasel investigation” to (re)discover forgotten fruits and vegetables, resilient crops from the Seine basin, the aromatic garden… “Legume” workshop, exploring the health and environmental benefits of tomorrow’s crops. “Seasonal fruits and vegetables” workshop, in the heart of La Ferme’s orchards, with a smoothie-bike tasting as a bonus. Animal feeding (between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.), a highlight activity open to the public. Ongoing team games: sustainable food mural, “Pari(s) de l’alimentation durable” quiz wheel. Activity on sustainable fishing: decoding labels. Organic fruit and vegetable market and activity by Interface formation.
