The Esports World Cup 2026 will now be held in Paris, France, from July 6 to August 23.
Paris is becoming the EWC's first international host city after Riyad, accelerating the Esports Foundation's long-term ambition for global rotation. Bringing together 2,000 players, 200 Clubs, and millions of fans from more than 100 countries this summer, the world's largest esports event is coming to a city at the heart of international sport. The Esports Foundation has a long-term vision: to grow its international tournaments and competitions over time by building on its audiences, partners, and host cities around the world. Following a thorough evaluation process and in light of the current regional context, the Esports Foundation has decided to accelerate this ambition for international rotation starting with the 2026 edition, in order to provide clarity and stability for players, Clubs, publishers, partners, and fans worldwide, while preserving the tournament's scale, structure, and competitive integrity.
