Born into a family of musicians, he swapped his childhood piano at an early age for spellbinding rhythms from around the world—Cuban, Brazilian, African—which he blends with infectious playfulness and boundless energy. Onstage, he sets the tone, drives the improvisations and makes hearts resonate just as much as the instruments.
