À propos

To mark the release of their very first manga, Lights, Drag, Action !, Kam Hugh and Narumi Shigematsu, icons of drag culture and internationally renowned mangaka, will be signing at Fnac Forum des Halles on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 6 p.m.!

Kam Hugh is a rising star of the Drag Race France franchise and a key figure on the contemporary drag scene. Revealed during the first season, where she established herself as the “fashion queen,” Kam Hugh has since won over an international audience. Her participation in the “All Stars” season in 2025 confirmed her status as an icon: despite never having won a season, she became the most-followed contestant in the French franchise, with more than 221,000 followers on Instagram. Originally from Ardèche, and passionate about manga and pop culture, which often inspire her drag looks (especially Sailor Moon), she has developed a distinctive visual universe, blending sharp aesthetics with a powerful imagination. A recognized make-up artist, she also launched her cosmetics brand Enchantée by Kam Hugh in 2024. Narumi Shigematsu is an internationally recognized mangaka, particularly known for Running Girl. After studying traditional craft bookbinding in France, she became a mangaka upon returning to Japan. Her works explore the boundary between fantasy and reality, very often through the themes of “metamorphosis” and “self-awareness” among boys and girls. Her best-known works include L’écrin de notre histoire and “BABEL” (Shogakukan), “A nos fleurs éternelles” and “Running Girl” (Kodansha). Her works have often been recommended by the Japan Media Arts Festival of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. She is currently working in collaboration with Kam Hugh and Editions Akata on the creation of an original work.
