DOCUMENTARY | “La part des autres” by Jean-Baptiste Delpias and Olivier Payage From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. : screening of a documentary film that tells the stories of different but intertwined journeys: farmers in their fields, residents facing precarity, and volunteers from food aid organizations, all around the challenges of the agricultural and food system. Free entry DRINKS-AND-DISCUSSION around the Food Democracy Fresco created by residents of the Charles Hermite collective, Paris XVIII From 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. : residents who took part in the fresco gather to discuss their journey throughout this creative process. Organized by Yes We Camp with VRAC. SOLIDARITY COOKING WORKSHOP | Preparing meals for outreach rounds From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: for food distributions by the association "Souci des Nôtres". Each week, the Buvette collects unsold goods from various shops and organizes volunteer cooking workshops every Thursday evening in the teaching kitchen at the Académie du Climat. Alongside Marion and Delphine, chefs at the Buvette, and volunteers, you can help plan the menu based on the week’s unsold goods, take part in preparing the dishes, and join the distribution carried out by the association. To participate, send an email to [email protected] More details on the Académie du Climat website PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP | Food sovereignty in different countries around the world From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: A workshop where each participant joins a table dedicated to one of the countries (France, Haïti, Pérou, Rwanda, Sénégal) and playfully discovers a few comparative statistics between these states: wealth, access to drinking water, ecological footprint, etc. Participants will also discover a local initiative led by a civil society association in the corresponding country. The workshop ends with a collective reflection on ways to take action in France and get involved in these food sovereignty issues here and elsewhere. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Are you wondering about collective approaches? Come explore the diversity of collective farms during this café-installation dedicated to shared resources. And to make these questions more concrete, 3 farmers will come present their ways of working collectively. Round table organized by Abiosol. Full program on the Académie du Climat website : Registration recommended NOVEL LAUNCH " Tartare, une descente dans les entrailles du carnisme, Éditions de la Chambre froide From 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: Dive into the depths of Tartare, the committed novel by the student collective of the Master 2 Création Éditorial Multi-support (Sorbonne-Asfored), which denounces social relations of domination and the disruptions caused by meat-based and food consumption.
