Upon arriving in Brazil, American poet Elizabeth Bishop does not expect to find a love and a landscape that would shape both her work and her personal life. The documentary Elizabeth Bishop: From Brazil with Love (2025) by Vivian Ostrovsky will be screened in the original version with subtitles, in the presence of the director. The event is organized as part of the exhibition Les cartes postales d’Elizabeth Bishop » at the BIS (April 9-July 8, 2026) by Poetry Beyond (VALE UR4085).
