As part of the "Comic Book Thursdays" event series, the Bibliothèque publique d'information welcomes author Marguerite Boutrolle, who will present her latest comic book, "De Bonne Foi".
Born in 1994, Marguerite Boutrolle spent her childhood between Bretagne and Normandie. After studying at Sciences-Po, she turned to drawing and made it her profession. The author of the acclaimed Fraîche (La Boîte à Bulles, 2022) and La Part des Lâches (Rivages, 2024), she is releasing her third graphic novel with Dargaud in 2026: De Bonne Foi. Marguerite Boutrolle's latest comic book, De Bonne Foi (Dargaud, 2026), is a psychological thriller inspired by Joyce Carol Oates and shaped by the cinema of Hitchcock and Chabrol. During this event, she will discuss her graphic work in particular, marked by contrasts and silences, and inspired by José Muñoz and Taiyou Matsumoto. Moderated by Sonia Déchamps, journalist and editor. This event will be preceded by a drawing workshop led by Marguerite Boutrolle on June 24.
