À propos

A work from the immersive exhibition conceived by students from Beaux-Arts de Paris at Espace Niemeyer, engaging with the architecture to offer a sensory and poetic experience around love and the memory of the place.

Anatomía, Installation, 2026 Anatom í a emerges from an intimate tension: a love-hate relationship with architecture, shaped by a personal and territorial experience, as well as by a desire to create sensitive spaces. In dialogue and contrast with Oscar Niemeyer's underground architecture — marked by its seemingly organic curves— the installation unfolds a network of roots emerging from the walls, extending their lines in unpredictable ways. The roots evoke what makes us up as living beings, pointing to the idea of connection, of bonds. In this sense, the proposal enters into dialogue with the idea of the network: a system where connections generate community. Like trees, which communicate through their roots, the installation offers a metaphor for the invisible structures that connect us. Ana Balderas was born in 1989 in Mexico City (Mexico). She is an architect with degrees from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and ESAD TALM in Angers. She is currently a student in Fresco & Art in Situation at Beaux-Arts de Paris. Having grown up in Ojo de Agua, a territory marked by destruction and replaced by massive urbanization, she develops a sensitive reflection on space, approaching installation as an act of care, memory, and exploration of the symbolic charge of places. STUDENTS OF THE FRESCO & ART IN SITUATION PROGRAM AT ÉCOLE NATIONALE DES BEAUX-ARTS DE PARIS / Falando de Amor A project co-produced as part of an educational partnership with École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, with the participation of Espace Niemeyer.
