The Bolly Deewani association will welcome Parisians for the 10th edition of its Indian festival, the Bolly Bazaar, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., at TEP Louis Braille, in the 12th arrondissement. For the occasion, the public will be able to explore an ongoing Indian market, watch Indian dance performances and concerts, try out different dances, and discover the flavors of Indian cuisine.
Based in the capital for more than 18 years, Bolly Deewani promotes Indian culture through bodily expression and dance. During the Bolly Bazaar, the public will be able to discover one aspect of this culture through Bollywood dance choreography, as well as traditional dances such as Kuthu, a dance from southern India, Odissi, a graceful classical dance, and Bhangra, a festive dance from Punjab (northern India). Introductory sessions will allow visitors to learn a few basic steps and immerse themselves in Indian culture for an afternoon. A tabla and Afghan lute concert by the duo Varta will also offer them an authentic and transporting musical experience. Finally, the festival includes a “market” section, with stalls selling traditional Indian clothing and jewelry, creations by artists and artisans, a wellness area, a children's area (coloring, board games, and face painting), and Indian culinary specialties to enjoy on site.
