Sensory tours, cyanotype and charcoal drawing workshops: on June 6 and 7, the musée Bourdelle invites you to discover the charm of its gardens.
As part of Rendez-vous aux jardins, held on June 6 and 7 and dedicated this year to the sense of sight, the musée Bourdelle invites the public to take a fresh look at its gardens. The museum’s guide offers sensory and inclusive garden tours, accessible to both sighted and visually impaired or blind visitors, opening up an experience of the garden beyond sight. These tours echo the exceptional collaboration with the association Valentin Haüy, a partner in this edition. Finally, charcoal drawing workshops invite families to capture unexpected viewpoints on the plant species, while introductions to cyanotype, an old photographic process, reveal the poetry and beauty of the gardens in a different way. Sensory garden tour What did the museum gardens look like when Bourdelle lived there? Which plant species tickle your nose? Which sculptures punctuate the outdoor spaces?
