As part of Rendez-vous aux jardins, on June 6 and 7, dedicated this year to the sense of sight, musée Bourdelle invites the public to take a fresh look at its gardens. Choreographer Eva Klimackova and dancer Leandro Villavicencio perform the piece “PURE” in the gardens, highlighting the living dialogue between bodies in motion and the surrounding vegetation.
“PURE” by Eva Klimackova in the gardens By Eva Klimackova and Leandro Villavicencio Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Duration of each performance: 25 minutes Free admission – subject to available places Through the structure of the dancers’ duo, “PURE” explores the plasticity of two bodies that carry, in each of their gestures, the uniqueness of a journey from another culture - or several cultures - and that invent spaces in which to enter into relationship; an organic and fluid relationship between bodies and materials. “PURE” unfolds time through a sensory and tactile exploration in which bodies take turns, loosen, intertwine, overlap, and balance endlessly with a highly distinctive musicality of gesture. By revealing a plasticity of forms, lines, curves, folds, and materials without hierarchy, “PURE” is charged with memory and scattered with imprints.
