THE EARLY MUSIC DEPARTMENT CELEBRATES!
The Conservatoire Nadia et Lili Boulanger invites you on a musical journey into the heart of the Renaissance, through an exceptional concert bringing together all the classes of the early music department. Students and teachers will introduce you to the rich sounds and expressive range of this vibrant era, with refined polyphonies, elegant dances, and bold improvisations. On the program: a selection of iconic and lesser-known works, performed on historical instruments by the classes of Laurence Pottier (recorder), Carola Grinberg (lute), Garance Boizot (viola da gamba), Timothée Oudinot (baroque oboe), Antoine Pecqueur (baroque bassoon), Esteban Gallegos (harpsichord), Johanne Favre-Engel (traverso), Hiroko Nakayama (harpsichord accompaniment). This shared musical moment celebrates the spirit of the Renaissance: curiosity, invention, and dialogue between the arts.
