Exhibition by 6 contemporary artists: pastel, installation, sculpture
- Chloé Bocquet, pastel - Arnaud Franc, pastel and mixed media - Anne Laval, installation and sculpture: wool and steel mesh, lichen - Violaine Laveaux, sculpture: mixed-clay faience - Solenn Marrel, pastel - Emmanuelle Pérat, pastel Because pastel suddenly became a pretext - a way to bring together artists from the gallery around this technique, both historic and still very much alive - the exhibition evolved into a proposal that sets pastel in dialogue with sculptures and an installation. From one artist to another, we move through a map of the intimate, whether the heart of a forest, a life model posing in the studio, the world laid flat, the secret of an interior in diaphanous light, the colorful gable of a house, or the singularity of mixed clay. The works on display reflect each artist's universe, with practices that reveal a rare quality of observation and a sensitivity to the world marked by exceptional subtlety and elegance.
Price: Opening reception by invitation on Tuesday, June 9 at 5 p.m.
